Daleville, IN—The town of Daleville opened their new $4.2 million Daleville Town Hall Park and Splash Pad water feature over the weekend.

The park features two playgrounds, a splash pad and public restrooms, concessions, performance pavilion, shade canopies, storm water planters, and a paved walking trail that winds around the re-vegetated stream, and new parking areas.  The performance pavilion and event area can accommodate 3,000 people.

According to Trina Morgan, Deputy Clerk and Park Event Coordinator for the Town of Daleville, an estimated 600 people showed up for opening day.  “The splash pad is the largest in Central Indiana and is open to all ages,” she said. “We opened the entire park to the public on Saturday, June 3rd for our Grand Opening. The splash pad is open every day from 10am to 8pm (weather permitting) and is free to the public. The rest of the Daleville Town Hall Park opens at dawn and closes at dusk.”

Adjacent to the splash pad, a concession stand is available that currently features Jeff’s Flavored Snow, (flavored shaved ice) in addition to bottled water, chips and sodas.

The Daleville Town Hall Park is located at 8019 S Walnut St, Daleville, IN 47334

September 5, 2017 update from the Town Hall Park.

We have had a FANTASTIC first year, and our new park has been so well received throughout our town and surrounding communities. Thank you all for enjoying our park! We are not quite closed for the season, but our hours are changing. The park hours will remain dawn to dusk, but the splash pad will only be on 12pm-6pm from now until 9/24, when we will close for the season. Be sure to enjoy the few remaining weeks with us.
