Muncie, IN— Lifetouch, the trusted name in photography and yearbooks, will be holding a job fair at 601 W. Ontario Drive in Muncie on May 23, 2017.
The job fair will be recruiting for several seasonal positions on both 1st and 2nd shifts. Applications will be accepted and onsite interviews and tours given between the hours of 1pm and 4pm on the day of the job fair. Available positions include data entry keyers, color corrections specialists, editors, retouchers, printer operators and sorters. Skills testing for color corrections and data entry will be given to all applicants who are interested.
“We are looking for individuals who enjoy photography, not necessarily someone who is a trained photographer or editor,” says HR Manager Amy Bell. “We have great training for all of our positions, so although experience is great, it isn’t required. We can train you!”
The Lifetouch Muncie production facility runs on a two-shift operation, with shift hours being 7am-3:30pm for 1st shift and 3:45pm-12:15am for 2nd shift. There are opportunities for overtime hours throughout the busy times of the year.
For nearly 80 years, Lifetouch has been the professional photography choice for schools and families. Headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minn., Lifetouch is 100% employee owned. The enterprise is organized around five primary business units operating in local communities across North America. Built on the tradition of “Picture Day,” Lifetouch School Photography captures smiling faces, preschool through high school and on through college graduation. Product lines include sports, special events, seniors and yearbooks.
The Muncie, Ind., Lifetouch location produces products for the Senior Portraits line for Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch. They service high school seniors in all 50 states, and process approximately 1 million students and 15 million images yearly. “Lifetouch is proud to be a major employer in the Muncie area. Our unique employee ownership allows many Muncie area citizens to both gain initial experience in the area and for others to work towards a secure retirement,” says Production Manager Dan Koch.
Lifetouch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
