Muncie, IN—The Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) recently celebrated its 2016 successes at its annual statewide network meeting. Ian Steff, Executive Vice Present and Chief Innovation Officer with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Aaron Vigil-Martinez, Sr. Advisor for Small Business & Entrepreneurship with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation presented awards to top-performing staff members and centers.

East Central ISBDC received the Most Improved Center award for overall performance improvement and goal attainment in the previous year. The East Central Indiana ISBDC’s business advisors helped 26 businesses start and attracted capital infusion of $10,647,112.

Scott Underwood, business advisor with the East Central ISBDC, received an award for the largest change in sales. Underwood’s clients reported more than $3 million in increased sales during 2016.
