Indianapolis/Marion County, IN – Indiana United Ways (IUW) elected Christopher Caldwell to its Board of Directors at its State Leaders Conference on April 13, 2017.
Mr. Caldwell, Senior Vice President Commercial Banking for MutualBank, brings extensive regional leadership to the IUW table. He currently serves as the Board Chair and member of the Finance Committee and Campaign Cabinet with United Way of Delaware County. In addition, he was the Campaign Cabinet Chair in 2013 for the United Way of Delaware County and in 2005 for the United Way of Madison County.
“My parents and grandparents instilled in me the concept of giving back to the community that gives so much to me. To that end, I believe that United Way is the organization that most efficiently allows my wife and me to do the most we can through our efforts at financially supporting the United Way while also volunteering for so many of the activities and programs that United Way supports. When I imagine our community without an effective United Way, I see a place that is lacking the spirit of support, nourishment, and thriving sense of progress that makes our homes such better places to live, work, and play. I am excited about what I can learn and develop through service at the state association level,” states Mr. Caldwell.
