Cornerstone’s Summer 2017 Eight Week Arts Programs Classes

Muncie, IN—Cornerstone Center for the Arts will begin its summer class session the week of June 5, 2017. These classes will meet for eight weeks and will end the week of July 24. Classes have low-cost one time fees with limited financial aid available to those who qualify. Classes in the summer include the categories of dance, fitness, visual arts, theatre, music, and martial arts for youth and adults.

Classes for toddlers and pre-k children include Early Ballet for ages 1-2 & 3-5, Early Ballet II, Early Tap, Early Hip Hop Jazz I & II, Family Art for ages 1-2 & 3-5, and more!

Classes designed for elementary and middle school students include: Youth Ballet, Youth Tap, Youth Lyrical, Acting 101 & 102, Early & Youth Piano, Martial Arts, Calligraphy & Graffiti for ages 7-10 & 11-14, Family Ceramics, Youth Ceramics, Creative Drawing for ages 7-10 & 11-14, Fantasy Art, Kids Creative Crafts, Manga & Comic Book Drawing for ages 7-10 & 11-14, Youth Painting for grades K-3rd & 4th-8th, and more!

Classes for high schoolers and adults are Basic Ballet for Adults, Adult Hip Hop, Contemporary & Jazz, Indian & Bollywood. West Coast Swing, Ballroom Dancing I & II, Yoga, Acting for Grownups, Martial Arts, USA Combat Jujitsu, Drawing, Calligraphy & Graffiti, Adult Ceramics, Creative Drawing, Fantasy Art, Farmhouse Vintage, Jewelry Making, Adult Painting, Manga & Comic Book Drawing, Mixed Media Painting, Pinworthy Crafts, Steam Punk Accessories, and more!

Cornerstone will also host a variety of workshops for youth and adults including: Monthly Dance Club, Monthly Art Club, Coffee & Paints, Kids & Paints for ages 2-6 & 7 and up, Bad Art Night, Pints & Paints.

Cornerstone’s Summer Break Arts Camps will be June 19-23 & July 17-21 and will feature instruction in various art forms including but not limited to visual arts, theatre, martial arts, dance, and science.

In addition to classes and workshops, Cornerstone will continue to offer private music lessons in piano, voice, drums, guitar, saxophone, trumpet, and string instruments.
