Community Foundation Announces Eight 2017 Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to the following scholars—

Emily Fisher and Suzanne Scanameo, seniors at Yorktown High School, are the recipients of the 2017 Yorktown Lion’s Club Scholarship.

Fisher, daughter of Stacie Fisher and David Fisher, plans to attend Ivy Tech Community College.  Scanameo, daughter of Michael and Carol Scanameo, plans to attend Indiana University where she will study biochemistry.

David Batthauer and Krystal Watters, seniors at Daleville Jr./Sr. High School, are the recipients of 2017 Kathleen Rozelle-Camplin Scholarships.  Batthauer, son of Andy and Julie Batthauer, plans to attend Ivy Tech Community College where he will study mechanical engineering.  Watters, daughter of Tiffany and Troy Watters, plans to attend Indiana University where she will study criminal justice.

Garrett Conway, Gabriella Harrington, and Shea Ingles, seniors at Cowan Jr./Sr. High School, are the recipients of the 2017 Max V. and Nellie C. Creviston Scholarship.  Conway, son of Vick and Christa Conway, plans to attend Indiana University where he will study political science.  Harrington, daughter of Stacey and Jason Harrington, plans to attend Grace College where she will study applied physics and mechanical engineering management.  Ingles, son of Lee Ingles and Sally Ingles, plans to attend Anderson University where he will study secondary education.

Alexis Keesling, a senior at Daleville Jr./Sr. High School, is the recipient of the 2017 Michele Barnhart Hires Scholarship.  Keesling, the daughter of Steve and Kim Keesling, plans to attend International Business College, where she will study to become a veterinary technician.
