Muncie, IN—Muncie Indiana Transit System (MITS) is proud to announce that effective immediately all veterans with a valid Department of Veteran Affairs identification card will ride MITS buses for free. Previously only disabled veterans were offered free rides with MITS.

The MITS organization and Board of Directors recognize and appreciate the service of all veteran men and women. We hope to honor them and display our sincere gratitude through this policy change.
