Muncie, IN— Open Door Health Services will once again host the Back 2 School Fun Fest. This event will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 1-4pm at 333 S. Madison Street in Muncie.
Back 2 School Fun Fest is open to the public and will offer school and sports physicals, immunizations, and dental screenings for little to no cost. Children of all ages can enjoy free games, refreshments, and balloon art. They will also walk away with a free backpack filled with school supplies, while supplies last.
“Back to school time can often be overwhelming,” says Open Door Health Services CEO, Bryan Ayars, “but Open Door Health Services would like to make that experience a little easier for families, while providing a fun way for kids to get excited about back to school.”
This year preregistration will be available from now until July 13th. Families will be able to come in and get the necessary paperwork filled out before the day of the event. This will allow families to go through the process quicker and more efficiently on the day of the event. In order to preregister families must come into Open Door’s main facility, 333 S. Madison St.
MITS will be providing free transportation on the day of the event.
If someone other than a parent or guardian accompanies a child to the event, they must have a signed note from the parent or guardian giving permission for the exam and immunizations.
In order to ensure that children do not get unnecessary immunizations, we will only be able to provide vaccines to those who bring an up to date shot record that day.
