Muncie, IN—Cornerstone Center for the Arts will offer a series of classes this summer for youth, families and adults in a wide variety of areas. The Summer Eight Week Class Session begins the week of June 6th and continues through July 29th. Cornerstone’s class fees are affordable, one-time payments that cover the full eight weeks of class. Areas of interest include: visual arts, theatre, dance, fitness, and music.
Children and families classes include: Early Ballet I & II, Early Ballet for ages 1-2, Youth Ballet I, Family Dance Time, Early Tap I & II, Youth Tap, Early Hip Hop Jazz I & II, Youth Hip Hop Elementary & Middle School, Boys Only Hip Hop K-2nd Grade & 3rd-5th Grade, Youth Lyrical, Musical Theatre Dance, Family Ceramics, Youth Ceramics, Youth Painting, Pinworthy Crafts for Kids, Family Art Ages 1-2 & Ages 3-5, Creative Drawing, Anime & Manga, American Graffiti, Cheerleading, Acting 101 & 102, Martial Arts, Fundamentals of Art: K-2nd & 3rd-5th and more!
Adult classes available during the eight week session are: Basic Ballet for Adults I & II, Contemporary & Jazz II, Adult Hip Hop I & II, Belly Dance Bootcamp, Adult Tap, Acting for Grown Ups, Drawing, Rhythms of Middle East, Adult Ceramics, Beginning & Intermediate Painting, Pinworthy Crafts, Upcycled Jewelry, Anime & Manga, American Graffiti, Pilates, Piloxing, USA Combat Jujitsu, Indian & Bollywood and more!
This summer Cornerstone will offer two weeks of its popular Summer Break Arts Camp program. June 20th through 24th or July 1th1 through 15th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Camp is designed for students ages 7 to 14 and will cost $125 per student. Participants will enjoy a week long concentrated session of classes in visual arts, dance, theatre, martial arts, and more. Each day will include instruction in multiple areas.
Cornerstone will continue its popular Pints & Paints series this summer as well as other workshops for youth and adults such as Coffee & Paints, Kids & Paints, and Flower Pot Fairy House.
In addition, private lessons are available to students of all ages in the following areas: Dance, Drums, Guitar, Piano, Saxophone, Strings, Trumpet, Voice.
