Downtown Business Connector, the Downtown Muncie, based coworking and office space, announces that it has rebranded itself to The CO:LAB, effective immediately. The brand change reflects an evolution for the company and its community, more accurately aligning its mission and expansion plans.
“Our space has grown and emerged over the last year, and we felt it was only fitting to embrace our defined personality. We have refreshed our brand to reflect who we are as a collective community and to symbolize our dynamic future,” explained Jennifer Greene, Community Catalyst of The CO:LAB. “At The CO:LAB, we’re not just building physical space for new and ongoing businesses, it’s more than that; we are giving our members the tools to make something of their companies and join a rapidly expanding community of thinkers and doers.”
The core mission of The CO:LAB remains the same: to equip everyday entrepreneurs and professionals with functional, efficient, and affordable workspace alongside a collaborative and enthusiastic community. The space attributes the flexibility of its month-to-month leases, the transparency of its pricing, and the inspiring atmosphere of its communities to its steady growth and success. These factors have helped The CO:LAB emerge as one of the 35 established coworking spaces across the state.
The CO:LAB launched in December of 2014 and upon approaching the one year anniversary they proudly added several new start-up and relocated existing businesses to the Downtown district. As a collaborative project with the City of Muncie it continues to add to the revitalization of the Downtown Muncie and the growing entrepreneurial eco-system.
