The Muncie Central High School Business Club hosted the 5th Annual Etiquette Dinner and Professional Dos and Don’ts Style Show on Friday, November 6 at 7:00 pm. The event was held at the Ball State University Student Center in Cardinal Hall.

The purpose of the event was to prepare our students for professional dinner events they will attend after high school graduation. Some of our students will be attending dinner events for scholarships, job interviews, or fundraisers. Whatever the event, we want our students to be prepared – to be educated in proper and professional etiquette.

The style show was presented by Muncie Central’s Business Club members and members of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity at Ball State. The Business Club is sponsored by Mrs. Lisa Letsinger. The style show which focused on the dos and don’ts to professional dress was emceed by Mr. Dale Basham. Teaching proper dinner etiquette was addressed during the event; therefore, it was a “teaching” dinner.

To assist with student learning, business and/or community members were invited to attend. The goal was to have 4-6 students sit with 1-2 business and/or community members.
