Cornerstone’s Fall Break Arts Camp
Fall break is a great chance for kids and parents alike to enjoy a break from their normal routines. Cornerstone Center for the Arts will host its first ever Fall Break Arts Camp, Tuesday, October 13 through Thursday, October 15.
Similar to Summer Arts Camp, this program is designed to enrich the arts education of students age 7-14. The camp will expose students to a variety of art forms within visual arts, theatre, and dance.
Dance classes introduce students to a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, and hip-hop.
Visual arts classes encourage kids to develop creativity and build fundamental art skills. Art projects will be completed both individually and in groups. During the camp students will work with a variety of mediums in different art forms.
Theatre class includes acting, improvisation exercises, and theatre games. Campers will be encouraged to focus on personal theatre goals, as well as develop skill and technique with scene work.
The camp will take place Tuesday, October 13 through Thursday, October 15 from 9:30 am until 2 p.m. daily. Students will be given a lunch break and are responsible for bringing their own food. A secure, refrigerated area is available for storage.
The cost of the arts camp is $75 per student and is due at the time of registration.
