Explore your creative side this fall with Cornerstone’s diverse class offerings for the Fall 2015 session. Classes begin Monday, September 14 and run through Thursday, December 10 with a break the week of October 12th. Classes are offered for youth, family and adults in the areas of visual arts, dance, fitness, music, martial arts, and theatre. Class fees are affordable, one-time payments that cover the full twelve weeks of class. Financial aid is available to students who qualify.
Early and Youth classes are offered for children 3 years old to 8th grade and include: Early Ballet I & II, Youth Ballet I & II, Early Tap I & II, Youth Tap, Early Hip Hop Jazz I & II, Youth Lyrical, Youth Belly Dance, Youth Hip Hop, Family Art Ages 1 -3 or 4 – K, Family Ceramics, Youth Ceramics, Anime & Manga, American Graffiti, Creative Drawing, Youth Painting, Cheerleading, Early Tumbling, Youth Tumbling, and Martial Arts. There’s something to spark the creativity in every child!
Adult classes for 9th grade and older include: Basic Ballet for Adults, Contemporary & Jazz, Ballroom Dancing, Salsa and Swing Dancing, Adult Hip Hop, Beginning Belly Dance II, Veil & Fan Veil for Belly Dancers, Pilates, Piloxing, Adult Ceramics, Adult Drawing, Adult Painting, Pinworthy Crafts, Upcycled Jewelry, Anime & Manga, American Graffiti, Martial Arts, Women’s Self Defense, and USA Combat Jujitsu. These classes are great opportunities for adults to relax while expressing themselves creatively or learning new skills.
In addition to twelve-week classes, Cornerstone will offer a Fall Break Arts Camp from October 13 – 15 featuring a week long, concentrated session of classes in dance, visual arts, and theatre.
Cornerstone will also offer a variety of one-time workshops for both youth and adults throughout the fall. These workshops include a continuation of the popular Pints & Paints series as well as various visual arts, dance, and educational workshops. All workshop times and dates are available online at www.cornerstonearts.org/education.
Private lessons are available to youth and adults in the following areas: dance, drums, piano, voice, trumpet, guitar, strings, and saxophone. Private lesson registration is flexible and lessons may begin prior to the fall class session.
