The Daleville Planning and Zoning Board and the Daleville Town Council approved the request to rezone 11.3 acres from residential to commercial use for the new AutoFarm Ford Dealership.

The new AutoFarm Ford dealership will be adjacent to the existing Sam Pierce Chevrolet dealership.

In 2014 the AutoFarm Group formed a partnership with the McCrocklin Ford & Mobility Dealership creating AutoFarm McCrocklin Ford. The goal of this union was to provide significant expansion opportunities for the dealership. Additional dealerships in Utah also joined the AutoFarm Group family of dealerships.

McCrocklin Ford has been located in Middletown since 1948 and will continue to have a presence in the Henry County community through the AutoFarm McCrocklin Mobility Dealership. This expansion will allow AutoFarm McCrocklin Ford to reach a larger audience, providing more inventory and service choices for the Daleville and surrounding area residents.

“The AutoFarm team possesses a depth of expertise in automotive sales and service, and it’s our customers who reap the benefits,” said Johnny Johnson, Fixed Operations Director.

AutoFarm McCrocklin Ford will construct a 24,000-square-foot dealership at an estimated cost of $4 million. The dealership is expected to open in 2016.

“We will locate right next-door to Sam Pierce Chevrolet. It will give consumers great vehicle sales and service options. There is no other place in central Indiana where there is a Ford and Chevrolet dealership right next to each other,” said Jim Kissling Co-President of AutoFarm Group, LLC.

The AutoFarm McCrocklin Mobility will remain at the current location at the intersection of Indiana 236 and Eighth Street in Middletown and is also expanding towards a national direction with facilities in Utah.

The partnership announced in December between AutoFarm McCrocklin Ford and five other family-owned dealerships was to allow them to compete with larger dealerships and be able to buy in larger quantities to obtain discounted prices, as well as combining marketing efforts.
