The Ball State athletic department, in conjunction with corporate partner Terrance Smith Distributing, Inc., is proud to welcome the world-renowned Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales to Scheumann Stadium on Thursday, July 16th. In addition, Remember the Titans will be shown on a giant screen creating a fun, free, family event – Cards and Clydesdales Family Movie Night!
The Clydesdales will be available for viewing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the movie slated to begin around 8 p.m. Concessions will be available with no outside food allowed inside the gates. Fans are also encouraged to bring blankets for seating on the north hill. The new playing surface at Scheumann Stadium will be open for fans to walk on and play catch while Ball State football players and coaches will be on hand to meet with fans. Parking is free in the main stadium lot. Please note, for the safety of fans and Clydesdales, this event will not be held if there is a threat of inclement weather. Also taking place that afternoon at the stadium is the Ball State Football Kids’ Camp, which is open to kids ages six to 12. Coach Pete Lembo and his staff will instruct kids on football basics in a college setting. Camp will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with dinner served to all campers immediately following.
