Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Applications Now Available

Muncie, Ind. – New for the 2016-2017 academic year, Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipients will be named in December. Applications are now available from The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. at www.cfmdin.org for high school seniors who will graduate in 2017. Indianapolis, IN — Ivy Tech Community College recently announced Alex D. Huskey as interim chancellor for the East Central and Richmond regions of the College. He will assume the role in September. MCS Transition Summer School Program Improves Elementary Retention Rates

By: Ana Pichardo— Muncie, IN— When MCS noticed an upward trend in the number of kindergarten and first grade children being retained over a four year period, the district saw a critical need to implement a Transition Summer School program. Universal Breakfast Program is Piloted Within the Muncie Community Schools

Ivy Tech Community College Names Bowne Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Muncie, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College named Dr. Andrew Bowne as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Bowne will begin this position on August 15, 2016.  He currently serves as the Chancellor for the East Central and Richmond regions.  An interim to fill Bowne’s position is expected to be named in the coming weeks.
