Tobacco Free Delaware County Names New Program Director

Muncie, Indiana—The Tobacco Free Coalition of Delaware County is pleased to introduce Jordan Moss as its new Program Director. Jordan’s office is at Little Red Door Cancer Agency, the new fiscal agent for the Tobacco Free coalition grant.

Moss earned two masters’ degrees in Wellness Management and Gerontology from Ball State University, and previously worked in corporate wellness with a focus on behavioral change, program implementation and health coaching.

“With the Delaware County Coalition, I hope to support positive cessation experiences, educate our community about the impact of new tobacco products like E-cigarettes and JUUL, and help encourage youth to experience a tobacco-free lifestyle,” Moss said.

The Tobacco Free Coalition of Delaware County is comprised of agencies and diverse individuals dedicated to address the evolving problem around tobacco products by eliminating its use through advocacy, education, and increased awareness. Backed by the Indiana State Department of Health, Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission we aid Delaware County with our free resources and support. Its goal is to make them accessible to all and to lessen those affected by tobacco. Since 2001, the coalition has led the effort to promote change and decrease tobacco use rates within Delaware County. Tobacco Free Coalition of Delaware County is a Partner of the Healthy Community Alliance of Delaware and Blackford Counties.
