Muncie, IN—Open Door Health Services announces that Suzanne Clem has joined the Open Door team as Director of Community Awareness.

Suzanne received a bachelor’s degree in advertising and master’s degree in social psychology from Ball State University. Her experience includes 13 years in marketing at Ball State, focusing on strategy development, social media, and wellness marketing for the university food service. She also has written for higher education publications and community projects and has provided volunteer communications support for nonprofits in both her hometown of Monroeville, IN, and Muncie.

At Open Door, Suzanne’s responsibilities include guiding the organization’s communications strategy to improve awareness of the organization’s services throughout the communities it serves.

“Our community is making big strides in improving quality of life and creating spaces that people enjoy working and living in,” said Suzanne. “Improving health is an important part of creating strong communities, and I’m looking forward to building on the ways Open Door reaches residents—as well as like-minded organizations—with the message that we’re invested in the community and ready to partner in residents’ healthcare needs.”
