Indianapolis, IN– CareSource is donating $5,000 to Feed My Sheep to replace supplies that were damaged when storage units were broken into last week. This donation will allow the organization to feed hundreds of hungry families on Thanksgiving as planned.
For 22 years, Feed My Sheep has hosted an annual event to provide Thanksgiving dinners to families in need in Muncie. More than 500 people attend the event, and nearly 1,000 meals are delivered to Indiana families through their Harvest Celebration Thanksgiving Day Dinner program. The event was threatened when thieves ransacked storage units and damaged supplies for the annual dinner last week.
