Cardinal Greenways Bike Fest will kick off Friday, July 28 with a free, all-age community group ride at 5:30 p.m. Riders will gather at the Historic Wysor St. Depot and ride to Canan Commons in downtown Muncie, where they can participate in a festival kick off  party featuring a BMX stunt show, music, bike-themed challenges, games, and a children’s bounce house.

Day 2 of Cardinal Greenways Bike Fest will be Great Greenway Tour Day.  Touring the greenways will begin at 7:00 am Saturday, July 29. Tour participants can ride all or part of the 62+ miles of the Cardinal Greenway and the 6.8 miles of the White River Greenway. Included in the $35 registration fee is a short guided bike tour, with options of Muncie’s historical sites: Weird Muncie, Green Muncie, and Ball State University, as well as a Brewery Tour. Lunch is included, plus a Cardinal Greenways Bike Fest 2017 shirt.
