Community Foundation Announces Additional 2017 Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to the following graduates –

 Dawson Allen, a senior at Yorktown High School, is the recipient of the Adam Cline Scholarship.  Allen plans to study civil engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He is the son of Dr. Wade and Christy Allen.

Carter Anderson, a senior at Delta High School, is the recipient of the Tom Devine Memorial Scholarship.  Anderson is the son of Lee and Kara Anderson and plans to attend Ball State University where he will study entrepreneurship.

Elle Nowakowski, a senior at Yorktown High School, has received the Robbin S. Lindsey Memorial Scholarship. Nowakowski is the daughter of Drs. Allan and Karon Nowakowski.  She plans to study biomedical and mechanical engineering at Rose-Hulman Insitute of Technology.

Bailey Hansard, a senior at Cown Jr./Sr. High School, is the recipient of the Owen H. Ramey Memorial Scholarship and the Dr. Albert O. Miller III Scholarship.  Hansard is the daughter of Paul and Cathy Hansard. She plans to attend Ball State University to study nursing.

Jacob Lengacher and Mae McDaniel are the recipients of E.K. Keesling Memorial Scholarship. Lengacher, who is homeschooled, plans to attend Purdue University where he will study mechanical engineering. He is the son of Kurt and Jo Ellen Lengacher.

McDaniel, a Cowan Jr./Sr. High School senior, plans to attend Purdue University where she will study plant genetics, breeding, and biochemistry. She is the daughter of Mary Coffmann and Wes McDaniel.

Dylan Torbush and Isaac McGarvey, seniors at Wes-Del High School, are the recipients of the Jon Hunter Memorial Scholarship. Torbush plans to attend Wabash College where he will study physical therapy and pre-med. He is the son of the Gary and Mara Bennett.

McGarvey, the son of Robert and Angela McGarvey, plans to attend Ball State University where he will study zoology
