Bicentennial Torch Bearers Introduced at Delaware County Fair

Delaware County’s Torch Bearers for Indiana’s Bicentennial Torch Relay made their first public appearance at the Delaware County Fair July 19th, just before the Truck and Tractor Pull at the grandstand. Nineteen of the 24 Torch Bearers were able to attend the event.

They were Dale Basham, Bill Broyles, John Craddock, Allie Craycraft, Jessica Feick, Jud Fisher, Gail Kuhns (carrying the Torch for legendary baseball coach, Bobby Graves), Delyn Harty-Isom, Al Holdren, Mike Lunsford, Oscar Nunez, Cade Orchard, Terrie Panszi, Eli Riggin (carrying the Torch for the founder of Riggin Dairy, Rea Riggin), Bea Sousa, Dennis Tyler, Jack Williamson, Laura Williamson, and Alan Wilson.

Their next appearance will be at the Muncie on the Move Breakfast on Wednesday, August 3rd. They will carry the Indiana Bicentennial Torch through Delaware County on Tuesday, September 27th. A map of their route will be published in advance.
