Outdoor Farmers Market Begins May 7th at Minnetrista

Muncie, IN—Breathe in the spring air and find market-fresh produce at Farmers Market at Minnetrista! The Outdoor Market begins May 7, and takes place from 8 a.m. to noon, every Saturday through October.

“Outdoor market is a great time to spice up your life with a variety of fresh produce,” said Farmers Market Coordinator Rosemary Tankersley. “Come often and learn about the many different varieties of produce that are offered throughout the season, and don’t forget, this food is as real as it gets; fresh from the farm!”

While you’re finding fresh ingredients for your cooking and canning recipes on Farmers Market Saturdays, stop by the Canning Experience Booth! From June through September, discover new recipes, taste FREE samples, and get your canning questions answered by Minnetrista canning experts!

“Farmers Market is the perfect Saturday destination for socializing with neighbors and discovering new foods for your family to try—all while enjoying of coffee in the sunshine,” said Sales & Events Manager Mollie Ellis. “From breads, vegetables, meats, and eggs to help stock your fridge and pantry, to ready-made sandwiches, coffee, and desserts, Farmers Market truly has something for everyone.”

From June to September, Farmers Market extends to Wednesdays and Saturdays to bring more exciting items to you! Join friends and families from 3 to 6 p.m. Paint your plate in an array of colors, and support our local growers.
