Explore your creative side this spring with Cornerstone’s diverse class offerings for the spring 2016 session. Classes begin Monday, February 1 and run through Friday, April 29. Classes are offered for youth, family and adults in the areas of visual arts, dance, music, martial arts, and theatre. Class fees are affordable, one-time payments that cover the full twelve weeks of class. Financial aid is available to students who qualify.

Youth dance classes to be offered include: Early Ballet I ages 1 – 3, Early Ballet I & II ages 3 – 5, Early Hip Hop Jazz I & II, Early Jazz I, Early Tap I & II, Family Dance Time, Youth Ballet, Youth Belly Dance, Youth Lyrical, and Youth Tap. Children’s visual arts classes will include: Family Ceramics, Family Art, Youth Painting, Youth Ceramics, Anime & Manga, Creative Drawing, and American Graffiti. Other classes for kids are: Acting 101 & 102, Martial Arts Lower Belts for New Students, and Storytelling & Story Acting. With so many classes in each different arts area, there is something for every child to enjoy!

Cornerstone’s adult classes for the spring will include the following dance courses: Salsa & Swing Dancing, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Belly Dance, Basic Ballet for Adults, and Ballroom Dancing. Grown-up visual arts classes are: Adult Ceramics, Beginning and Intermediate Painting, Digital Photography, Pinworthy Crafts, Portrait & Figure Drawing, and Upcycled Jewelry. Adults are also welcome to participate in the following classes: USA Combat Jujitsu, American Graffiti, and Anime & Manga. These classes are great opportunities for adults to relax while expressing themselves creatively or learning new skills.

Cornerstone will continue its popular Pints & Paints series in the spring as well as other various workshops for youth and adults. All workshop times and dates are available online at www.cornerstonearts.org/education. Private lessons are also available to students of all ages in the following areas: dance, drums, piano, voice, trumpet, guitar, strings and saxophone.
