MUNCIE, Ind.—It takes teamwork to create something great – and it’s no different when it comes to improving the quality of life in Muncie and Delaware County. Woof Boom Radio would like to give YOU the opportunity to nominate the people, places and businesses you love most within Delaware County. The search is on for the finest restaurants, realtors, builders and numerous other categories of local businesses.  Only an elite few can win the right to call themselves the best.

Nominations for this contest are set to begin now at MunciesQuestForTheBest.com  and will continue through May 4th.

Whether you’re a business owner, an employee, a customer or a fan, this is your opportunity to let your voice be heard.

For businesses, it’s a welcome opportunity to become “top of mind” with customers after the challenges of the last two years. Woof Boom Radio President J Chapman said the timing of the contest couldn’t be better, adding that Muncie’s Quest for the Best presents the perfect opportunity to shine a spotlight on the businesses throughout Delaware County that have endured, innovated and found new and better ways to serve their customers.

“Muncie’s Quest for the Best is the brainchild of our employees. They wanted to recognize the great local businesses in Muncie and Delaware County. Starting with our Lifting up Local program three years ago, Woof Boom employees focused on what makes the Muncie business community special. Muncie is known for its excellent business community.  Quest for the Best is all about recognizing the best of the best.”

After all nominations are received, voting will begin on May 11th.  Visitors may cast one vote per subcategory and are invited to return every day through May 25th to support their favorite local businesses.  As with any competition, credibility is vital, and so the entire process will be handled by a third party.

Nominations must be within Delaware County, IN.

Gold and Silver award winners will be crowned in over 140 subcategories, classified within nine consolidated categories:

  • Activities and Entertainment
  • Business & Professional Services
  • Food and Beverage

Woof Boom Radio plans to publish over 10,000 copies of a glossy, full-color magazine that will be distributed throughout the community. Along with showcasing the winners, the magazine is designed to serve as a guidebook for both the local community and visitors from out of town seeking the very best that Delaware County has to offer.
