Muncie, IN—How do you measure love? Depending on who you ask, there are countless answers to this question. Derek Peterson, founder of Web of Support, measures love based on the amount of support a person feels and can correlate that to their success.

The Web of Support is a local mentoring initiative that uses a relational approach to help youth and adults identify, expand, and strengthen their own support systems. The Web of Support provides a practical pathway for youth and adults to evaluate the support they receive in their own lives as well as the support they provide to those around them.

The Muncie Action Plan invites you to a free, interactive dinner and discussion with special guest Derek Peterson June 29 from 5:30-7:30 at Madjax. Attendees will learn how the Web of Support is used around the world to strengthen youth, schools and communities. Community members are encouraged to bring their neighbors as we explore ways to increase support systems, mentoring and connections within the neighborhoods of Muncie.
