Muncie, IN—The Dream Builders Society Breakfast provides a tremendous opportunity for Muncie Habitat for Humanity to share the work and impact of their efforts, and to invite guests to support Habitat’s housing mission.

“After last year’s cancelation we are excited to continue to share stories of homes, communities and  hope, with the community again,” said Lindsey Arthur, Muncie Habitat CEO. “This year will be different while we continue to raise critical funds as we keep the safety and health of our donors and staff a top priority.”

The Dream Builder’s Society Breakfast, which began in 2003, has grown into an 800-person annual event. The usual format invites Table Captains to fill their 8-person tables with friends, peers, or family members, for a breakfast and presentation. This year, instead of inviting guests to experience the presentation at the Horizon Convention Center, the staff will be live streaming a 20-minute event into the homes, offices, and churches of their guest’s choice.

“We are hoping that the Table Captains and their guests, that would usually join us, will be comfortable gathering in smaller groups for a 20-minute Zoom event in their own way,” explained Arthur. “Individuals are also welcomed to join us from the comfort of their own homes!”

The presentation will be held at 8 a.m. on April 29th, 2021. Guests can expect an exciting mix of live presentations from staff, first-hand accounts from partner families, and video. There is no cost to attend this virtual event.
