‘United & Ignited’ Campaign Raises $14,250 for DWNTWN Businesses

Muncie, IN—We are excited to announce that with Muncie Downtown Development support and contributions from the community, the “United & Ignited” campaign raised $14,250 for the DWNTWN Small Business Relief Grant. Nineteen businesses qualified and will be able to use the funds to offset loss of revenue due to COVID 19.   We are grateful to all of you who contributed, shared information and went to bat for our DWNTWN businesses. You really are why DWNTWN is a special place!

We will be resuming outdoor events beginning in August, subject to any changes in Governor Holcomb’s safety guidelines:

September 5th- It’s a Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood

After Hours Art Reels- Dusk
August 6- Rocketman
September 3- Empire Records

Pumpkin Glow and Trail TBA

IVY Tech will hold it’s 2020 Graduation on August 1st at the Horizon Convention Center, with a live stream on the big screen at Canan Commons for friends and family. Downtown businesses are encouraged to open their doors to the graduates and their families for lunch and shopping.
