JD Norman Supports Second Harvest Food Bank

Muncie, INJD Norman Industries, a manufacturing plant in Muncie, selected Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana as their charity of choice for their annual Community Giving Program.

JD Norman partners with charitable organizations in the communities where their plants are located in order to help meet the needs and mission of the organization. More than 150 employees at the Muncie plant donated over 200 pounds of food listed on the “Most Wanted” list provided by Second Harvest.

Along with the food donations, JD Norman Industries presented a financial investment donation as well.
“JD Norman Industries is committed to making a difference in the local community of Muncie and the leadership team would like to extend thanks to all employees at the Muncie plant for their strong support of this program,” said Sana Szewczyk, JD Norman human resources manager.

“We are so appreciative of JD Norman employees supporting Second Harvest,” said Karen McTague, Second Harvest major gifts manager. “Their dedication to helping so many who are struggling with hunger shows their concern and kindness toward our community.
