Boys and Girls Clubs of Muncie Opens After School and Virtual Learning Enrollment

Muncie, IN—Registration for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie’s Back2School programs are now open! Our after school and virtual learning programs are geared towards academic success, healthy lifestyles, and building character & leadership skills. All Club members receive dinner and a snack every day. Programs include homework help, computer coding, sports & fitness, and more.

These programs cost a one-time membership fee of $15 per child. Transportation is available from Inspire Academy,East Washington Academy, Grissom Elementary, Southview Elementary, North View Elementary, Longfellow Elementary, West View Elementary, Southside Middle School and Northside Middle School.

Free transportation is available for all Muncie Central High School students through MITS, by taking Route 5: Whitley/Morningside and getting off at stop 2 or stop 7. Parents with a child or teen from a non-MCS school will be required to provide the transportation to and from the school to the appropriate Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie (either Madison St. or the RoyC. Buley sites).

Hours:

  • Kindergarten through 5th grade – Monday through Friday, 2:30 m. to 6 p.m.
  • Teen Center – Monday through Friday, 4 m. to 7 p.m.
  • Before School Care for Middle School, 6:30 m. to 8:30 a.m.
  • Virtual Program, 7:30 m. to 6 p.m.

After school and virtual programs begin August 16. To register go to bgcmuncie.org/join.

Additionally, the Clubs will be hosting a Back2Club Bash on August 7 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Madison StreetLocation. The event is free and open to the public. It will feature games, food, bounce houses, and help withBack2School registration.
