Muncie, IN—The annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie’s Great Futures Dinner is scheduled for April 22, 2021 at 6 p.m. This year, guests can attend the event from the comforts of their own home via a live stream on the Clubs’ Facebook page, website, and YouTube channel.
The Great Future’s Dinner is one of the Clubs’ annual fundraisers. This year, the money raised will fund a 7-week summer camp program for the Club Kids. Guests can contribute to the fundraiser in a number of ways:
- Register for the event and auction
- Sponsor the event (limited opportunities available)
- Order Breakfast for Dinner from Once Upon a Plate Catering
The Great Future’s Dinner is a kickoff event for the 2021 Theme – Great Futures Start with Us. “Us isn’t just referring to the Boys & Girls Clubs, it’s referring to our kids, our schools, our community. 2020 was a difficult one, but it was a year that all of Us came together for our kids,” explain Jason Newman, CEO. “Supporting one another, helping one another, looking out for one another. Our kids, at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie come together every day, to support each other’s dreams, and aspirations. They work together in the Clubs, to help their peers reach for their Great Futures.”
This event isn’t just any fundraiser for the Clubs. It’s a chance for the community to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the Club Kids. Each year the Clubs recognize a Club Kid with the Pat C. Botts Youth of Year Award. This recipient must demonstrate the desire to continue to uphold the Boys & Girls clubs mission of academic success, good character, and a healthy lifestyle.
Plan to join the Clubs, Club Kids, and families on April 22 by registering now at www.bgcmuncie.org/gfd.
The Clubs would like to thank each of the 2021 Great Future’s Dinner sponsors for their continued support of the Clubs and Club Kids.
