Muncie, IN – Ball State Federal Credit Union, a full service financial institution with a main office, student center branch, and ATM locations to serve members in Muncie and Yorktown, has announced a rebranded look, logo, website and tagline. The new logo is a part of the credit union’s effort to update the brand and connect more effectively with members and the community. The tagline, “Helping Cardinals Reach New Heights,” reflects the genuine commitment to do whatever it takes to serve the best personal and financial interest of its members and potential members.
“We are extremely excited about our new brand proposition,” said Randy Glassburn Ball State Federal Credit Union’s President and CEO. “It highlights our commitment to become more closely aligned with the Ball State University community, and the Muncie community in general.”
The development of a new logo was undertaken for two primary reasons. First, to more closely align the brand with that of the primary membership group – the faculty, staff, students and alumni of Ball State University. Second, to create a branded look and feel that was more contemporary and represented the progressive spirit of the credit union in terms of the products and services provided. The colors of the new logo not only are consistent with those of the university, but they also have a visual warmth that mirrors the warm and personal relationships the credit union has with members and the community at large.
The rebrand further allows the credit union to stand out and increase awareness of Ball State Federal Credit Union in the community and to potential members. It serves as an effective foundation for future growth through strategic marketing communications initiatives. “Our new website is a fantastic example of our new look and brand – bold, robust graphics on a platform designed with member experience top of mind,” said Chrissy Stefani, VP/HR & Marketing.
The BSFCU model is based on traditional credit union values, including offering better than competitive rates and fees, and serving members in an environment of genuine respect and friendliness to all. “It is also based on our long standing belief that trust is the cornerstone of good relationships,” noted Glassburn. “As you see our newly branded look, know that it still represents us and our traditional credit union values, but with a more modern and contemporary look and feel.” The credit union is planning a member appreciation event to celebrate the rebrand later this year.
