Muncie, IN—The Fellowship of Christian Athletes of East Central Indiana is very happy to announce that New Castle Trojan Mr. Basketball, IU Hoosier superstar, and NBA Veteran, Kent Benson, will be the special guest for the 2017 FCA Banquet Thursday April 20th, at the Horizon Convention Center.

While a sophomore at New Castle, Kent attended an FCA camp and became an FCA leader for the Trojans. In 1973 he was named Mr. Basketball and was recognized as the FCA student athlete of the year. As one of the most recruited players in the country, he chose to play for Coach Bobby Knight at IU.

Kent led the 1976 Hoosiers in the last undefeated national championship season in NCAA history. While doing so he also served as the IU FCA leader. He went on to play 11 years in the NBA. We look forward to hearing an inspiring and entertaining message from local legend, Mr. Kent Benson.
